The week of April 27th, you will have a rare opportunity to speak out about your experiences with Comcast through a series of six public meetings, organized by the City of Philadelphia. Will you join us to speak out and hold Comcast accountable to the needs of our city? Sign up above to let us know you are coming.
Comcast’s corporate tower soars high into the Philadelphia skyline – and the company has a lot of influence in our city.
Comcast is prospering while Philadelphians are subjected to budget cuts that are shutting down our schools, our fire departments and other vital public infrastructure. At the same time, the Inquirer reports that we have the third worst rate of broadband penetration to our homes – because we and our neighbors can’t afford Comcast services.
To make matters worse, a recent, 570+ page study reveals that Philadelphians pay more for cable services than, and rank Comcast the worst of, ALL other cities surveyed in the last six years. All while Comcast pays little in taxes to our city.
Because of our pressure, the City released this survey over Comcast’s objections. If we keep telling our stories and asking for the rates and resources we need from Comcast, we’ll win the strongest Comcast cable franchise in the country.
Comcast needs to serve our consumers and our city and pay its fair share. Sign up above to show Comcast that we mean business!
